FIJABI

     One would hear the name and think her to be the palm wine tapper's daughter or the fisherman's youngest daughter or the village town crier's second child. She could also pass for iya agbebi's first granddaughter too you know?
     Haha! Sorry to disappoint you, this Fijabi is the daughter of the city business mogul; Alhaji Agbabiaka, the legal husband to four women and father of one (our own Fijabi)
      Her mother, being the last and the youngest wife of the four, as well as the only one with a child earned a special part of the Alhaji's heart and he made sure they never lacked anything all their lives.
      Fijabi wasn't spoiled but she got everything she wanted from her parents. The only problem she had was the constant jealousy and hate she got from the other wives. This led her father to getting them their personal houses far away from his own mansion.
     Having attended the best private primary and secondary schools in the country, she wanted to have a feel of a non private institution so she had to persuade her parents to let her. At first her dad was hell bent on not granting her this one wish but he had to give in to her pleas in the end.
     That's how she got herself into a Federal University

Swirling in my Idleness , Waking up each morning with my Primary Assignment missing, It's been a couple of weeks we were sent home from school. They told us we'd be gone for only 7 days. VICTIMS (FJ & TEE)

     Fijabi stood with hot tears streaming down her cheeks as she watched her friend leave. She couldn't wave back. That was her only friend leaving the country after vowing to never come back. She hoped to join her soon but she had no idea how to deal with school alone the last few months left. Torera had been her best friend since she could remember and was the closest she had to a sibling.      They were supposed to leave for the U.S together. But FJ wasn't ready to start all over though her father insisted that she changed her school with her friend. They were two different people. Torera couldn't bear starting all over. She was in her finals for goodness sake! She was scarred from that night too. She wasn't sure if she'd ever get over the terror and the guy's horrible dark face that came to mind whenever she saw any man. She could still hear the ceramic shattering.
