Friday Morning Motivation

Sometimes motivation on a Friday morning too, with the weekend grinning at you like; 😆😆😆

Most of what I know,
I've learned by falling
and getting back up.
The ground has taught
me more about flight
than the clouds
ever could.

_Rudy Fransisco

It's been quite a while here, due to some unforseen circumstances but I'm back again!
Apparently Rudy Fransisco is one of the few writers that have my heart and I can relate to this quote from him to a large extent, why I decided to share here.

About this same time last year, I had a loved one who was dealing with some serious medical issues. I was so positive he'd make it out, but he didn't. The remaining part of 2016 was ruined for me. I was so sure I'd be sad forever. I almost gave up on doing anything meaningful at all with life because I knew it could end anytime so what was the point?
Funny how time heals, I gradually started getting fine. Fast forward to seven months, I lost my longest childhood friend and brother to life, yet again. This time I was crushed to pieces yeah. It was devastating and incomprehensible. I fell again.
The saddest thing people say to comfort a bereft individual is "life goes on". We never want to hear it, but sadly it is the truth. We get so mad at life, like "how dare you go on without me yo?". We become withdrawn. It's worse for some of us who remain in denial and just expect the dead to walk back to life (if only),  or for those D's to turn to A's we so much feel we deserve, or for that dad/mom who walked out on you years ago to walk back in, because your life has been quite meaningless without them, or for that brother who's been in and out of rehab due to drug abuse, to become that sweet being he used to be before life happened.
Different stuff are happening all over the world today but we all think whatever we might be going through is the worst that could ever happen to anyone (wait till you step out and hear stories).  Life actually goes on but it takes a great deal of positivism to move on.
It's okay to grief at failure, it's okay to grief at setbacks. It's okay to grief at the loss of a loved one. But it's never okay to get stuck in a place, to get stuck in our emotions. It might be quite hard but we have to keep moving!
Individually our strengths differ, which is why getting over bad situations might take longer with different people. The most important thing is to GET BACK UP and keep fighting, till the very end. FIGHTING! 💪💪

Have a wonderful day.
And I'll be back with a story later today ☺ You can only imagine how many stories I could possibly have locked up in my mind within a whole year! Can't wait 💃💃
